Who We Are Premedical Sciences Services was founded by, and is currently owned by, David Hanford, a previous medical student who teaches most of our courses. Therefore, students benefit by receiving direction from someone who has been through -- and succeeded in -- the process of preparing, studying, and applying for medical school. David has developed a teaching technique of his own that has been tried and proven to be more effective than other currently used, and somewhat obsolete methods. Our Services We offer tutoring, study skills, and group study sessions for premedical students in the Miami area. David Hanford: Teaches all MCAT Subjects (except Bio), as well as Organic Chemistry & General Chemistry for UM Students
David graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Chemistry (Science GPA 4.0), and attended Medical School at the University of Florida College of Medicine (full tuition scholarship awarded). David taught as a supplemental Instructor for Chemistry at the University of Miami, an MCAT instructor for the Princeton Review (all subjects), and has been tutoring University of Miami sciences courses since 1996. David has a passion for science which enables him to affectively break down challenging topics in an way that is understandable and interesting. Amy Sanderson: MCAT Biology Teacher
Amy is currently enrolled as a medical student at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She received her Bachelor of the Arts degree in Psychology from University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), June of 2003. She has been teaching since 2001 beginning with a California based SAT tutoring company, Ivy West, and moving on to the Princeton Review. Now on the East coast she loves med school and enjoys passing on her biology knowledge while keeping class interesting with unique memorization techniques and stories. |

Megan Janson: MCAT Biology Teacher
Megan is currently enrolled as a medical student at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She received her Bachelor of the Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Miami, June of 2003. Raised in Miami, she has been tutoring both privately and for the "U" since 2001. She is having a great time fulfilling her dream of becoming a doctor. Megan has a passion for helping others achieve their own goals of getting into medical school by sharing her biology knowledge, and helping students see the relevance of what they are studying now to what they will encounter as future physicians to be. |

Lynda Hanford: Director of Operations
Lynda's has an extensive administrative background, including: the Assistant to the Director of the Honor Academy at Teen Mania Ministries, the Honor Academy Campus Life Director at Teen Mania Ministries, the Assistant to the CEO at Coleson Foods, Inc., the Assistant to the Regional Manager at TBS Couriers. This accomplished administrative background enables Lynda to successfully manage all of the day-to-day business at Premedical Sciences Services. |
