Private Tutoring - Fall 2009
David is accepting private tutoring appointments in the following subjects:

General Chemistry 1 & 2
Physics 1 & 2
Private tutoring with David for these subjects is $70/hr.
Most private tutoring students meet twice a week for 1.5 - 2 hours/session (a total of 3-4 hours per week).

The Advantage Program
Introducing Premedical Sciences Services ADVANTAGE Program (Group Study Sessions). Members of the program will meet with an experienced Organic Chemistry instructor 3 hours, once a week. The instructor will teach students how to solve practice homework problems and fully prepare them for each exam. Students will receive an in-class manual which contains valuable information, as well as practice problems.
The primary aim of the program is to help each student get the necessary ‘A’ in all of their premed courses, which will aid in acceptance to medical school. It would be foolish for us, or anyone else, to guarantee an ‘A’ in each premed course. We can only give you the necessary tools to help you. The onus is on you to take the ball and run. However, students who do as our instructors say (such as complete the homework assignments, attend all sessions, put in the required study hours) usually get that golden ‘A’.
Another very important objective of the program is to help students master their science course. For students planning to eventually take the MCAT, this mastery is essential. The MCAT is a conceptual science test. It separates those who really have a strong grasp of the concepts from those who don’t. Many people have received A’s in all their premed science courses only to completely bomb the MCAT. This, unfortunately, is a common occurrence. Our program strives to prevent this from happening. The Advantage Program is designed to adequately provide students with the necessary mastery while they are taking university courses.

Courses Offered
We currently offer Weekly Group Study Sessions for students taking the following courses at the University of Miami:
- - CHM 201 (Fall Semester only)
- - CHM 202 (Spring Semester only)
For students who are enrolled in our Weekly Group Study Sessions, we also offer additional Test Review Sessions to help prepare them for tests throughout the semester. Test Reviews are held a few days before each test. During the Test Review Session we review previously administered tests questions.
